L.S. We are preparing a publication of Old Testament selections via a Bible Module. Instead of adding Front and Back matter, GLO, INT to the Bible Module we would like to use a new set of FRT, BAK etc for the Old Testament Selections publication. How can this be best achieved (in a new project?) while still being able to include last-minute changes in the Biblical text automatically? (fyi: FRT, BAK, GLO etc have all been used for the New Testament.)

I suggest you create a daughter project based on the original project. Then import just the books you need for your publication. If you are don’t need whole books, then copy and paste the chapters you need. The daughter project is always linked and will alert you when changes have been made to the original, if you have the status boxes enabled. Look in Help for more details on daughter projects and status boxes.

Alternately, you can create other Bible Module .sfm files with the Front & Back matter and add them as \mod lines to your main Bible Module file(s).
Here’s a simplified version of our Gen 1-3 Bible Module (Adama_pub.sfm) with an Introduction, Scripture text, and an appendix (for helping the reader understand cross-references, footnotes, and section headings):
\mod Adama_int.sfm
\pb
\mod Adama.sfm
\pb
\mod Paratextual_examples.sfm

Thanks, bbrollier, for this reminder that from within a Module you can call other Module files with the \mod marker. I’ve done this in the past but hadn’t thought about using it for saving/reusing different Front & Back matter files.
