Formatting within \io1 marker

I am unable to use the \pn marker in the introductory outline \io. Strangely PT will allow \png which is a very similar marker. Imbedding it with a + doesn’t work either. Any suggestions?

According to the USFM stylesheet, \pn should be able to be inside a \io. In what way are you unable to use it? Which book are you trying this in? What happens if you force it there?

An RTL project numbers the main points of the outline in the book intro. Some books have subpoints marked with \io2, so ... \io1 be invalid? USFM 3.0 makes no comment about this.

quote /qt within words of Jesus /wj not working (v9.5)
I see that there was a bug in v7 (at least) which prevented formatting quotes (italics) as words of Jesus (red). But I ... wrong? Is this a feature or a bug? Is there a workaround?

I'm seeing that there was a bug which prevented quotes within words of Jesus markers from being colors in earlier versions ( ... (red) but not both. Can anyone help with this?

I am not seeing clear instruction on USFM documentation on how to handle \xq and \xta, etc. within \xdc. Our ... translator be using nested formatting tag instead e.g. \+it?
