I am checking Pslams with a team at the moment. It is not a fast job. It might take years and I mightn’t be the only one doing the checking. It would be good to be able to write somewhere in each chapter who did the checking for that chapter and who was involved in the checking session.

Is there a code for this?

Thanks

We use /sts for our notes we want to make at the top, it doesn’t change any SFM markers

A rem can also occur before \c 1 if the scope is the entire book. I haven’t experimented with all potential positions but it is not inflexible.

In case you want to have housekeeping information at the top of the book, you can add as much as you like in the \id line after the book name (and project name if that is required).

I would not put stray information on the id line. It is only supposed to have the book name and the project name and they should ask be identically formatted when this information. This is the line that is used by the software to identify the file and connect with the project. Messing with it can cause strange things to happen. While Paratext now appears more robust in this aspect than it used to be, other software may not be so.

Hi Jan+Gossner,

Thanks for the suggestion. I thought of that but when I put in a \Rem at the front of a chapter it turns all other sfm markers red. Is that standard behaviour, and inconsequential?

you could use the \rem marker. It can be followed by any text you want.

I understand. However, you could make \rem status be remarks specific to the chapter info that you wan to record.
