I am working with a Linux user who’s computer will not install paratext. This pastebin shows the issue:

There is apparently a conflict with a part of a specific version of mono.

This machine has other linguistic software installed:

WeSay (uses mono)
XLingPaper (java)
Fieldworks

The error shows as “You have broken held packages”, but there are no broken packages unless one tries to install paratext.

Thanks for any ideas.

We've followed the instructions setup the repository and when we click on the the install button for Paratext 7.5 we ... and we sometimes get nothing. Anything else we should try?

After an Install of Wasta 14 Paratext, the Advanced Checks is greyed out. In my home directory I see ... windows C:\MyParatextProjects\cms What might cause this?

I am trying to install PT 7.5 on a new Windows 8.1 computer. After installation, I supplied Paratext name and code ... same message appeared. I have not seen this before. Any help?
