進一步自訂 Peripherals > Variable lists，並為每卷經書或模組設定基本選項？

Question

某些已儲存的版面（Saved Layouts）可以設定為處理單一經文選取範圍或模組。一個非常實用的用途是：為單卷出版物進行格式設定並添加插圖，而不會讓主要的 Paratext 專案檔案塞滿許多在最終出版物中不會使用的插圖。

其他版面則非常適合列印乾淨、格式統一的階段性經文片段，例如用於社群測試：這些版面每次被呼叫時都會應用於不同的經文片段。如果 Local Front Matter 腳本中呼叫的變數（在 Peripherals 中指定）能針對這種通用列印版面更容易管理，那就太好了。
Variables 輸入框僅顯示 4 行，所以我必須捲動才能看到所有變數，並且要在 View/Edit 和 Peripherals 之間來回切換，以確認我為這個特定列印請求設定了正確的數值。

Hi Kim,

Have you explored the recently added "Publications" tab? It is only available in Full view, but allows you to (i) keep most of the variables [like language name, iso-code, etc.] the same, while (ii) modifying the variables per publication for those that need to be different [main title, books, etc.]. There's a column on the left of the variables on the Peripherals tab which lets you set/check/tick which ones need to be specified (i.e. unique to each publication) on the Publications tab.
