For some time now I have been getting a message that there is an update to the BHS Source Language Text (HEB), but when I try to update it, after downloading, I get the following error message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

What can I do to correct this?

According to the developers:
The problem is happening because the deletion of the existing copy of HEB is failing.

You can delete the rename the existing copy while Paratext is stopped, and that will allow you to download the updated copy. (Turn off Paratext and then follow the next steps)
The file you have to rename is: C:\My Paratext 9 Projects\_Resources\HEB.p8z

You can make it: HEB.p8z.old
Sorry for the difficulties, a performance change affected some special handling for the HEB/GRK combination.

Some recent changes have broken the update for the HEB project. This is related to it normally being combined with GRK to form HEB/GRK.

We have a fix for this that will be sent out with the next patch.

Until then, you can either ignore the update for HEB since the most recent update only affected the display of Aramaic parts of speech. If this update sounds useful, you can delete this file:

"C:\My Paratext 9 Projects\_Resources\HEB.p8z"

The Download/Install resources will then be able to install the corrected version.

I tried to update the BHS+ resource but it then gave me a message that the resource is not installed on my machine. I tried to download it again but it was not listed on the Enhanced Resources list, so I tried the instruction to delete the .p8z file and reinstall, but it still isn't showing up on the list of available resources to install. It's just altogether missing from both my machine and the DBL server, apparently, as far as my computer appears to indicate.
We use the same dialog for DBL resources and Enhanced Resources; the Enhanced Resources are stored on a separate server. There have been some users who haven't been able to access the Enhanced Resource server because of outdated secure connection libraries (SSL/TLS support). This has usually happened on older versions of Windows.

If your problem continues to happen, send a problem report. The report will contain a log that helps us determine the cause of the error.
Thank you for the reply, John. When I checked again this morning, BHS+ was available to download again from the DBL server. It downloaded and installed just fine, and it seems my problem is resolved. I'll send a problem report if I see any other unusual behavior on this. Thanks again! Dan
