PTXprint 2.7.7 not responding

Question

I just downloaded and installed PTXprint version 2.7.7 in place of 2.5 I was using. When it opened, I could not do anything beyond the 'start by selecting a project' in the BASIC TAB. The 'saved/shared configuration' which I had created and stored was not accessible and many of the other TABS like footnotes, peripherals and finishing are irresponsive. I am working on printing Joshua for one translation team. Now I am unable to produce anything with PTXprint 2.7.7. Please advise.

A newer version has been released 2.7.8. Try downloading that. You can always go back to an earlier version by going to the website and downloading a previous version. You would need to uninstall the new version before installing an older version.

Thank you Phil for the answer. I just looked up the latest download for PTXprint and the latest version is still 2.7.7.
Meanwhile my version 2.7.7 has responded. I don't understand how or why the change but am glad that I can continue with the bookprint draft of Joshua.

Yes, our sincere apologies for some strange behavior in these early 2.7.x versions of PTXprint. We added a number of rather complex new features which have adversely affected the stability. Even 2.7.8 which Phil mentioned had some issues, and so will shortly be replaced with 2.7.9 which we hope will serve you well.
