We use the tilde for a non-breaking space in our project, but as of Tuesday, I can no longer enter a tilde in my project. I have checked keyboard settings, and I can still type a tilde in other apps, but now in Paratext I get a hash sign followed by a space. Does anyone have any ideas about how I might fix this issue?

What version of Paratext are you using? The tilde still works in PT 9.4.101.15. Does your project have an autocorrect.txt file that is changing the ~? (It would be located in the project folder). Do you have a Keyman keyboard associated with the project?

Hi Phil, Steve White helped me sort it out. There was a problem with conflicting autocorrect.txt files in Paratext. I'm not sure how that happened, but it has been resolved. Thanks.
