Hide gridlines in a table

My text includes tables. I want the print output to hide the table boundaries (gridlines).

General confusion here, as PTXprint entirely lacks any code to put lines into tables. It can put them for the whole page, but it does that by blindly making that a background for the page.
I wonder if you are thinking of some other program.
