Acabei de ler uma discussão diferente sobre a possibilidade de fazer S/R (Send/Receive) de apenas parte de um projeto.

Entendo os problemas que james_post menciona, como as pessoas esquecerem de enviar todo o projeto.
No entanto, pensei que seria benéfico ter botões adicionais de “enviar” e “receber”.
Muitas vezes, uma equipe está editando um livro em conjunto (pessoalmente ou por videochamada). Para garantir que todos tenham a versão mais atualizada, a equipe inteira deve periodicamente fazer duas rodadas de S/R. A primeira rodada é realmente apenas para enviar. A segunda rodada é realmente apenas para receber.
E se esses botões pudessem ser criados?
“Apenas Enviar”
Função:
Apenas envia o projeto. Cinco minutos após o envio, ele também receberá, a menos que o usuário inicie o processo antes.
“Apenas Receber”
Função:
Apenas recebe o projeto. Mas, se o projeto não tiver sido enviado nos últimos cinco minutos, faz um envio e recebimento regulares.
Todos clicariam primeiro em “Apenas Enviar”. Depois que isso for feito, todos clicam em “Apenas Receber”.
Isso poderia economizar muito tempo de espera para as equipes e reduzir a carga nos servidores.
Claro, uma desvantagem seria a complexidade extra e o treinamento adicional necessário.
Apenas uma ideia que tive há algum tempo! Entendo que pode não ser prático, mas quis compartilhá-la mesmo assim.

However, I have thought that it would be beneficial to have additional “send” and “receive” buttons.
Oftentimes a team is editing a book together (in person or via videocall). In order to ensure everyone had the most up-to-date version, the entire team must periodically do two rounds of S/R. The first round is really just to send. The second round is really just to receive.
What if these buttons could be created?
“Just Send”
Function:
Just sends the project. Five minutes after sending it will also receive, if not initiated sooner by the user.
“Just Receive”
Function:
Just receive the project. But if the project hasn’t been sent within the last five minutes, do a regular send and receive.
Everyone would hit “Just Send” first. Once that is done, they all hit “Just Receive.”
This could save teams a lot of waiting time and reduce burdens on the servers.
Of course, a disadvantage would be the extra complexity and extra training needed.
Just an idea I’ve had for a while! I understand it might not be practical, but wanted to share it anyway.
