I discovered today that a translator has been working in an unregistered back translation project on his computer (called ... Send/Receive. Any ideas on what might be happening?

I'm trying to help a translator who isn't able to complete a send/receive for his project in paratext 8. He and ... have no obvious way to propagate his changes out of his machine.
