When I switch to certain window layouts, this window pops up. I’ve tried following it and downloading it again. I’ve tried deleting it and downloading it again and changing the window layout to definitely include the newly downloaded version. If I say ‘no’ then the resource is still there anyway. Any ideas?

The layout is remembering a bad or old version of the resource that you don’t have.

Open that layout and delete the resource that is being complained about.

Load the new resource and set your layout just the way you want it.

Save the Layout WITH A NEW NAME.

Close Paratext and Open it. Close all the windows.

Open the layout with the new name.

It should open without a message and look the way you want it.

Delete the old layout.

If you wish, you could save the new layout with the old name, but I’d probably reboot first to wipe Paratext’s memory of the old layout. That may be overdoing it, but …

You will need to do the same thing for any Text Collections as well.

Olly, any chance that resource is included in a text collection window, or even a saved combination of texts as used in a text collection window?

Yes - it’s in a text collection.

Thanks for your reply. I had time to implement this the other day and it didn’t work but in the end the problem seemed to be that there were two versions of the resource - one with a slightly elongated name in a separate resources folder (_resourcesByld). When I deleted that folder it worked properly…
