Which English translation best matches Papuan-style discourse conventions?

“Which English translation do you think best matches Papuan-style discourse conventions? The research assistant who is working on this is not at all familiar with Papuan discourse, so I’d like to help her by having her work with an English translation that’s at least somewhat similar.”
