It is extremely difficult to understand the description of Ezekiels Temple. The UBS Handook on Ezekiel is helpful. There are supposed to be some illustrations. For instance, I can read for Ezk 42:1 "For the position of these rooms on the Temple compound, see Figure 22|fig:EZK.FIGURE22.jpg above, where they are labeled “B.”

If I click on the link, I am told the image is not found. What can I do to get to those images?

Iver+Larsen, there is an issue with images over a certain size in the Handbook. You may be able to see these with the following procedure:

Go to the introduction to Genesis in the Handbook. Find section 1A-1. How God Created All Things.

In the third paragraph, there is a link to a table. Click “See table”. My Paratext displayed a message “extracting images” and a minute or so later, the table will appear. Now try the images in Ezk 42 and see if they now appear.

This is a mysterious method, and suggestions to make it simpler have been sent to the developers. (Developers, see RES-0134 and PTXS-23484).

Thanks, sewhite.

This procedure worked for images in Genesis, but for Ezekiel I still get the message: Image not found.

Have you got the latest version of HBKENG? Mine shows those figures in Ezekiel after the “extracting images”. Including the ones Jonathan+Robie listed.

Well, I just downloaded an updated version, but many of the pictures are still missing.

You are correct - the image is not available. Try looking at one of the Enhanced Resources.

Thanks. The images can be seen in the enhanced resources. Those images are not as helpful as a couple I found on the Internet, but at least I have seen them now.

These images are missing in the UBS Handbook. There may be more.

I just filed a bug report.

There was a similar issue with the map in the note on JDG 11:20. I could not view it, even after going through the procedure above. However, I then updated the HBKENG project, and it is now there. I’m not sure which figures those are in Ezekiel, but hopefully you get the same results after updating.
