Hello, I’m using Paratext 9 (9.0.103.19) and have created a new book to make a Prayer Book. However, when I copy and paste the text from a Word doc into our Paratext project and then click on “Display spelling errors”, the spelling errors in the text do not display. Do you know how I can fix this?
Thanks.

Our text had that problem on one computer (while the administrator’s computer show the spelling errors OK). The spelling tool works fine for scripture books, but not for the “Extra A” book which was copied in from Word. (Neither the show marks nor the “Tools>Spellcheck current book” worked.) Then somehow, without making any changes that I know of, the spelling errors now are marked, and spellcheck current book shows the list of errors. However, there is still a problem that when trying to correct them using the tools, it says “No matches”. I’m now wondering if that has something to do with the fact that the extra-biblical text does not have verse markers?

Thanks! I’ll wait and see what happens :slightly_smiling_face:

What happens if you use Tools > Spell check current book? Does that work?
