It is easy enough to take a panel and click and drag on the title bar to make it a floating window. How do you dock it back into the PT9 window?

Right-click on the title bar (but not the topmost bar, but the bar below that) and click “Dock window”.

There is also an Undo layout change/Undo tab move on the main menu under Window when a change has been made.
