In a back translation project one of the books seems to have gone. When I go to the book of John I only get this message in the project window:
“This book used to be part of the project and can be restored by clicking the link”
There’s nothing else in the project window, and the message is not very specific about what link it is referring to.
I tried clicking on the message itself and a dialog popped up asking something like whether I want to turn on progress tracking for the book. I clicked yes, then nothing happened. I haven’t been able to get that dialog back up again, the project window remains with just the message in it, and now clicking on that message does nothing.

Can you post a screenshot and, if it’s not sensitive, give us the name of the project?

I’m using Paratext on Linux, and here’s a screenshot of the project.

I noticed that my colleague using Windows has the same problem in the project, except with his message there are three links: one to restore the deleted book, one to create the book and one to import a book. Clicking the restore option on his computer didn’t help the situation (again a dialog asking if we want to add the book to the project for tracking, then nothing)

I was able to resolve the problem by going into recent changes for the project and undoing the change that deleted the book.

I looked at the code and couldn’t figure out why the links wouldn’t be showing up or why they were not doing anything. Could you use Help > Report a problem to report those issues to us?
