Does anyone know if there is a way in PT8 to transfer paragraph breaks and section headings from one project to another?

There is no easy way to transfer format from one project to another once the text has been added. Before a book has been started then the easy thing to do is to use Create Book Based on… and choose the resource or project with the format you want to follow.

Once the text is added you can use the Tools > Checklists > Markers list to compare markers between projects. I would recommend doing this one marker at a time to not be overwhelmed, but however you do it you can see where the markers are different.

I wonder if someone could write a
regex that would copy \s [text] \p \v [digit] which you could
use to do a replace for the corresponding \v [digit]? It seems
like that should be doable, but I’m no regex expert…
