A user uninstalled PT 7 and when he started PT 8 got an error message because “C:\My Paratext Projects” (not “C:\My Paratext 8 Projects”) was missing. Creating an empty folder with that name solved the issue.

That error should be fixed in version 8.0.100.24. It’s currently out to the pre-release users. I’ll see about making it available to everyone today.

EDIT: It should be available to everyone now. Please use Help > Report a Problem if it does not fix the issue.
