As has been reported on the FLEx list, you can sign up through the Windows Insider program to get an update to Windows 10 if you’ve gotten the Windows 10 Creators update and cannot revert back to the previous version. The prerelease version to get is 16241.1001. To sign up for Windows insider updates, go to Settings > Updates > Windows Insider Program, and you can sign up (at no charge) on the form there. More info on the Windows insider program here:

I just did that on my home laptop. The computer took several days to download the preview, and did not start the update until I said I was ready. The update took almost two hours. Now Paratext runs without lagging when I change windows and FLEx let me insert a sense without crashing.

I was startled when I first started Paratext that it came up in Italian, but that was easily changed in Tools > Options.

The registry says my .NET version is now 4.7.02528
