Today or last night someone approved a user for a sub-organization of which I am the only listed approver. In this particular case, I do approve the user. But it raises some concerns. The request was not posted to me, my opinion was not sought, and i do not recognize the name of the approver. I did see an announcement of the granted request which would be a little too late.
This organization has some very sticky and political things happening at the moment and expects that they will be properly protected from unauthorized users getting a registration in their name. If their chosen approver is not allowed to speak to registration requests, then there is the distinct possibility that someone who is not serving the organization will be approved.
