A user asks:

In M and U, we use phrases for several Biblical key terms. In addition, we may have a group of 2 words that form a conjunction:

namu-a na                               >          mana    xai-ta

reason-SPEC REC-3s.O         >          for         it.is-QUES

the reason to it                                     for it is why?

'because'                                              'because'

How do we handle the transfer of phrases like these in FLExTrans? I've tried linking the two words together in my source text into a phrase and defining both phrases in both lexicons, but that doesn't work.

Since you are using HermitCrab, there's procedure you need to do when dealing with phrases that have spaces in your target lexicon. This is mentioned in the FLExTrans Doc. You need to add the phoneme # and as with all phonemes, make sure it is uniquely defined. (The FLExTrans synthesis for HermitCrab uses # for spaces internally.) Now you should see transfer working when you link one phrase to another.
