My browser just swalloed my question, so here more briefly:

I downloaded and read instructions on Glossy. Does not run right away.

Seem the batch file is looking for PT7 and for Python2.4

I run mainly PT9 and Python 3.n

I would attempt to fix, but would first like to hear from you. Have you got a newer version? Can it work with PT9? Can it work with Python3?

Thank you.

For what it's worth Paratext Lite has the Glossary Tool built in.

Thank you for sharing this. I installed PT-light at once on my personal phone and got it going. But I do not see the menu-entry "Glossary", I see plenty other options like "Open wordlist..." and "Interlinearizer".

I also pulled the exisiting "interlinear results project" into my phone via send/receive, hoping this would somehow make the Glossary accessible, but that did not help.

So again, thank you for this hint. Please give a few instructions how to configure the PT-light so that the Glossaries become available.

There is good news on one other end: I finally got the Glossy-tool going this morning, as per this other thread. There is indeed a new version for PT9 and for Python3, just in a new location online.

The Glossary menu only appears on the (Expanded) pane menu of Interlinear pane. So 1. open interlinear. 2. open Interlinear pane menu. 3. expand interlinear pane menu, and the Glossary menu should be shown.
Thank you. Took me a moment, but I found it. I will have to fiddle with my projects to get all the data for the Glossary from my main computer to the PT-light on my phone, but that can wait. Saying "thank you" should not wait. We appreciate all the good work that goes into PT.
