Punctuation check lists hundreds of errors that I did not have before

Question

I suddenly get hundreds of errors saying Punctuation missing at end of paragraph in 9.4.101.11. I must have some setting wrong somewhere, but the punctuation inventory looks fine. It only happens in one of my projects, so it is not a Paratext bug, but something about my settings in one particular project. Any suggestions?

There is an inventory called Markers missing final punctuation that should be checked. For different markers you can set what final punctuation is required. Often what gets missed is the colon.

Thank you. I had looked at that inventory, but the title was confusing to me. If it had said something like: Final punctuation allowed at different markers. I would probably have understood. Anyway, I have now marked all of them as valid and I  only get real errors flagged. The ie marker has no content and therefore no punctuation, so I assume it refers to the punctuation preceding this marker. Maybe by setting all as valid, I might not get an actual error flagged. I cannot see which ones might not be valid.

The list of sentence final punctuation is in the options list for the "Markers missing final punctuation" inventory. If you get a lot of erroneous "Punctuation missing at end of paragraph" messages, check if all the final punctuation marks are in this list.
