I have a custom created milestone marker. Here's an example of it's usage

\zpage |JOS24.15\*

When I import the text into a Bible Module, that marker gets stripped out.

Is there any way to work around this problem?

I'm not sure of the specifics of your milestone marker, but I can say that modules are pretty stingy in terms of the markers that get passed through the \ref marker. By default you must use the \inc marker if you want to include the \v, \f, \x or \fig markers.

I have submitted this as a bug report. Doing the exact same thing, but with a Character marker, works.

Here is what my definitions look like:

\Marker zpage
\Name zpage - Milestones - Page number for label
\Description
\OccursUnder id periph esb
\Attributes label
\TextProperties vernacular publishable
\StyleType Milestone

\Marker zpages
\Endmarker zpages*
\Name zpages - Milestones - Not a real milestone because of broken Bib Mod
\Description page numbers in PTXprint
\Color 13684944
\StyleType character

I haven't been able to find much information regarding how Bible Modules ought to work, but my personal opinion is that either 1) PT should pass through any markers not explicitly toggle-able via \inc, or 2) it should explain its logic for what markers are/aren't passed through.

Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
