I have added a new User to an existing project, however when he does a S/R the project does not show up as new. We have tried deleting and re-adding him and he has reset PT. Not only can he not get the project on his computer, it does not show up on PTLite, A second project we added him to at the same time appeared as New with no problems.
Any suggestions on what might be wrong and what we can do?

Another possibility is that the project was not S/R’d after adding the user (i.e. you as the admin need to do a S/R first). I’ve seen that happen a couple times.

My guess would be a conflict with an existing project on device. Does this project have a ‘DBL’ version, which has been installed on the device? If so try removing it and then, after a restart, try S/R again.

A third and stranger option is that the user was renamed (or approved for an organization) in the registry and never got a new registration code (this shouldn’t be allowed by the registry, as they don’t match). I had this last week. Generating a new code for the user and adding it to Paratext will fix this.
