Paratext Registry Slow

The last few days the Paratext Registry have been painfully slow here in South Asia. Unusable.

Sorry you’re having trouble. We had performance issues a few weeks ago, but did some work on the server and it’s running much better lately.

Is anybody else having trouble in the area?

Someone locally said they were having same issue a couple days before me.
Today it seems fine.

Searches of any kind would take several minutes to complete, if they completed at all.

Is there any maintenance, etc. running at night in USA time zone?
This afternoon (GMT+5:45) it is very slow again, but our other internet speeds are fine.

I had the server admin check the server usage data and he didn’t see any unusual peaks - the CPU didn’t get above 30%. I don’t have numbers for disk access, but he said that it looked fine.

I think the best thing to do is to send a problem report from Paratext when the server is slow. If you are using the registry site directly, maybe more samples of when the server is slow and which requests on the server were slow.
