Hello,

I’m writing on behalf of a teammate who is having a strange issue with the Interlinearizer for his project. He has completed extensive interlinear work for several books, however, when he wants to “complete” the status for that book within Assignments and Progress, the program indicates that he has hundreds of “issues” for that book. In clicking on the hyperlink provided, Paratext opens another window for the Interlinearizer too which shows zero approved glosses for the entire book.

Here is a screenshot of his populated Interlinearizer (found via Tools > Interlinearizer). Many of the verses are fully “approved” like this.

The line in Assignments and Progress that indicates issues.
SG-Uni Assignments and Progress

The same verse that shows up in the Interlinearizer after clicking on the hyperlink from Assignments and Progress.

And just for fun, here are the two windows, open at the same time.

Can someone help us understand what is happening within Paratext? Is there something we may have set up incorrectly that is not linking the Interlinearizer’s files to the Assignments and Progress window? Any help appreciated.

I see (saw) a similar behavior with my test project. What I found is that if I had multiple saved interlinear layouts then Paratext seemed to get confused as to which one was being used. When I removed all the extra layouts and kept just the one that had approved glosses it behaved as I expected. I did have one other issue in that when I went to the Assignments and Progress and checked the interlinear it said the model was missing. When I clicked that it opened to the interlinear and I accepted the settings and everything worked.
